SALON HISTORY
Salon One 23 was established
in December of 1991, by Cheryl Brown. The name of the salon is special to me. Salon One 23 is my birthday,
(Jan. 23).
What started as a 5 chair salon rapidly expanded to a 14 chair full service Hair & Day Spa.
In August 2002, a business decision was made to allow me to service my clients in a more private, cozy and relaxing atmosphere.
In order for this to transpire the Salon was downsized to a 3 chair salon. The sole purpose for this was to get back
to the basics and be able to spend more personal time as well as give more personal attention to each client or potential
new client.
In 2008, Salon One 23 moved to Gwinnett County and is now nestled inside D'Joncos Designs Salon
in Lilburn.
Salon One 23, has a well established hairstylist/makeup-artist, to accommodate all of your hair care,
make-up and grooming needs.
MISSION STATEMENT
My mission as a Salon Owner is to provide the very best service possible to each and every client or potential
new client. Salon One 23 will provide a professional, comfortable and relaxed atmosphere without a long wait.
OWNER BELIEFS
I am a
professional stylist who is aware of every changing trend in hair and cosmetic fashions. At the same time, however, I
am also a stylist who refuse to be dominated by fashion dictum's that show no regard for the client's individual personality.
I am a artist who believes that the client's individual features, lifestyle and personality should be the governing
factors in determining the ultimate success of the clients's visit in the salon. That is why the amount of time
spent with a client before the cut is just as important as the time spent during the cut.
